Daddy Daughter Dance

Hyperion hosted a daddy-daughter dance, "Love you to the Moon and Back". 

So Blythe and I got dressed up in fancy clothes and headed out for dinner and dancing! 

B had on a fancy white dress, pick shoes and even pink lipstick! She picked out my tie so that we would match!

Enjoying dinner and conversation! Chicken fingers and pizza!

Of course there was dessert... She picked the cupcake with blue frosting (as you can tell by her blue lips!)

And then we hit the dance floor for a little dancing. 

We didn't last long on the dance floor, the 3 year old got tired pretty quick, but we did have a great time!
 

YES Day part 2

Trigg's turn for a YES day! Donuts for breakfast, miss school while his brother goes and than onto Climb Iowa for a day of indoor rock climbing with Mom and Dad!

 We finished with some cookies and then it was time to pick up G from school. Another fun YES day!

New sheriff in town!

The boys are now learning gun safety! Starting with a BB gun, but you've got to start somewhere! We borrowed a BB gun from a co-worker to see if they enjoyed shooting...needless to say, we now have our own BB gun...with scope!

We set up a small shooting range in the garage!

 Watch out rabbits and squirrels...
