Merry Christmas

CHRISTMAS!!!!
We love Christmas time at our house, it starts the day after Thanksgiving and this year stretched well into January! First item...a Christmas Tree! We head to Pinkley's Red Roof Farms to pick out our family tree. Pinkley's is an 100 year old barn that has been converted to sell Christmas Tree's. The Pinkley family is awesome, super friendly and ready to help find the perfect tree! They have ponies and other animals on the farm!
And of course, Christmas Trees! We found the right one for us!
Merry Christmas! I'm not sure what they were more excited about, finding a Christmas Tree or the hot cocoa they got to sip while finding the tree
My parents have the tradition of giving the grandkids Christmas jammies, this year they had garden gnomes on the front and said "Ho, Ho, Ho"...Blythe is pretty excited about them!
Another tradition we have is making Christmas cookies! Heather mixed up a batch of sugar cookies and then we all rolled and cut
G making a snowman and a star cookie
Good looking assembly line!
B learning how to use cookie cutters!
Once the cookies are baked, then it's time to add the frosting!
We use ziplock bags and cut the corner to make our own frosting bags!

The finished product!
We got dressed up for the Christmas service at church and then had brunch at Hyperion...we had a hard time getting everyone to look and smile at the camera at the same time...
But we are pretty good at the "silly" picture!
Every year we try and have a "fancy" supper at home for Christmas, this year we did cheese fondue! We got bread, bacon, apples and pretzels to dip...turned out great and the boys were amazed at the fire under the fondue pot!
Heather does a great job decorating our home and she especially enjoys decorating for Christmas. Here's our tree this year!
And Sleeping Beauty posing by the tree...
And the mantle showing it's Christmas cheer!
Christmas morning in our Christmas jammies!
The dudes!
These three...I love 'em to pieces!

Then it was time to open gifts! B got some new glitter do-a-dots!
G entered into the world of Mega-Darts with a new Nerf gun!
 He's pumped!
and Blythe also got a new backpack...so she can be like the boys!
...and the item G has been asking for...not just a remote control car, but a Chevy Camero Z28 with black racing stripe!
And B got what she wanted...not just a princess dress...but a purple princess dress (I think it's Rapunzel, I'm new to the world of Disney princesses)
Trigg has been asking for a slime kit...and his reaction says it all!
We hosted my family for Christmas day, Grandma and Grandpa with the kiddos
 The "adults"
Grandma & Grandpa and all the grandkids
Blythe digging into her stocking...it's a bottle
What do you do with a baby bottle...that's right, feed your baby
G checking out his stocking...what do you do with a Rescue Bot?
 Rescue the World (of course)!
B had some pretty good reactions while she was opening gifts!
 A new dress!
G got another Nerf gun...the boys are now well equipped for a Nerf battle!
They also got a joint gift...a punching bag (in hopes of burning some of the cooped up winter energy!)
 Boom-bam-slam
 Check out the muscles!
We celebrated Christmas with Heather's side on New Years Day, I didn't get as many pictures, but here are all the cousins!
We also had a big New Year's Eve party with all the cousins to ring in the New Year...check back for that update!
