Santa Rose - Crab Island

With the weather being hit and miss, we decided to rent a boat and head out to Crab Island. We have read great reviews about this spot. It is off shore but only about 2 to 3 feet deep. Lots of boats anchor out there and play in the water. There is even float restaurants out in Crab Island! We got this double decker pontoon boat with a slide off the back...here we go!

The ladies are ready for some fun in the sun!
The dudes are ready too!
Because we had so many people in our party, we also had to rent a jet ski so that we could all get out there together, which turned out to be pretty fun! Derek gave all the kids tours of the bay!
 Pretending to be Spiderman!
Soaking up the sun!
We packed lunches to have on the boat...and a few cheese balls!
The best part of our boat...the slide off the back!
So much fun!
The kids loved it...and the adults did too!
And the water wasn't that deep where we parked!
Kim and Joni taking the Seadoo for a spin!
Crab Island was a lot of fun, the boat was a ton of fun. We ended up renting it for the early shift, we picked the boat up at 10 and had it till 2pm, which worked out great because we were one of the first boats out to crab island and were able to find a good spot to park. By the time we left at 2, there were 100's of boats and I had to walk us out pulling the anchor rope so that we wouldn't hit another boat!
