It has been a full and fun week for us! We started off last weekend with a farewell party for the OC VL's. They are headed into the mission field to work for Children of the Promise, an orphanage in Haiti. If you don't know their story, you can get up to
speed on their journey here.
We had the going away party to give them a fun send off, complete with cookie pops that Heather made...they were awesome!

This week we also made our
annual stop at the Iowa State Fair!

We got home right before bedtime from Adventureland, so we had a quick bath, read books and then off to bed. What happens when Trigg goes to bed with wet hair? His hair is wild in the morning!
Trigg is also becoming more and more brave with his standing skills!

When we went up to Orange City earlier in the summer, Heather gave the girls pedicures and they talked about going to a salon and getting real pedicures! Yesterday they did just that! Hands and feet got some fresh nail polish!

The girls had a great time...and their nails look great too!
That pretty much sums up our week, hard to believe kids are back at school and the summer is winding down!
